As for the blackout, and i thought you guys meant power outage, who says there always has to be a black nominee? I mean if the roles aren't there, you can't have a nomination, and its up to all these black writers and directors to start putting something else out besides action flicks and near musicals. Now Denzel had a movie out...The Great Debators. That should have been ackowledged for sure!

That's the problem - people who are VERY COOL with there NOT being a Black nominee, which ULTIMATELY means that there are hardly any Black roles of noteriety - and THAT'S the biggest problem than a nomination.
