Make your decisions or life will make them for you.

Hi, Nat. Look at the woman going all wise on us... next you'll sit on a mountain somewhere saying "ooooohm" and giving cryptic advice to pilgrims.

Hi, Nat. Good advice!! and Hi Vandetta

I'm getting much better. When I was married my husband made many of the decisions. Now that I'm on my own I've been forced to be the decision maker. I'm sure I'll make some mistakes, but it feels really great to be my own boss so to speak. I'm learning I'm a lot better at making decisions than I thought!
One of the best decisions I've made is to go back to school and become a nurse. It's a job that I'll love and it suits me really well.

Add to that that you're dating one of the most indecisive people I've ever met ("so what you wanna do today?" "I don't know"), sound familiar? Then you HAVE to make the decisions. But you're right, being on your own you have no choice - sink or swim.

I have a problem with my SO that if he says what you wanna do today, if I say "look at planes!" or "visit my sister!" or "ice-cream at the beach!" he doesn't want to so I usually leave it up to him.

He will make me drive so he can make 10 phone calls. In the end, I rather just stay home

It's what I did with my ex when I got tired of asking him what he wanted to do.

It's better to see it that way or you'd go mad Seriously though, I'm so happy for you guys I can't even decribe it. Said it before but still. Sorry Nat, I will stop jacking your thread now. That's a decision!
