For those of you not living life to the fullest: Why not? What's stopping you? And what are some preliminary things you might do to get rid of those obstacles?

I am not currently living life to the fullest as I have a terminally ill husband and the love of my life is married to someone else. Got into this not knowing that he still loved me. He is married to a tyrant.....but someday!!! I will have life as it should be and as it used to be....wonderful...just have to be patient.

eek what about the man you are married to? Do you love him? Does he love you? I am sorry he is ill. Perhaps you can focus on the quality of life he and you have before it is too late.

are you living your dream? i pretty much am! before i got married and met my husband i think i was sort of isolated and in constant search of what to do with my life. now i am grounded and know my purpose.

are you HAPPY? oh yes! i am very happy!!! i have zero complaints about my life right now!

I love the man that I married very much, but he has become a completely different person with the illness. The other is what you would call a love from long ago...I guess we live and learn. My husband and I live for the moment as we never know what the next moment will bring.

I always run out of the house to look at any flying over (we are nowhere near the regular flight path, so it's a special occasion when I hear that turbine whine excited ) the other day I was on the phone to a client when I went outside to see a spectacularly low flying one, and she was drowned out for a minute and I wasn't even thinking until I could her "hello? hello?" redface

btw the worst thing isn't the cars, it's the helicopters hovering a few metres over the rooftops, they drowned out the telly, so we couldn't even hear the race commentary mad

Thank you all for your responses!! for my part, I'm going to try and embrace life more now... not be so caught up in the "what if's". Right now I should be concentrating on a career, a house etc but you know what? that's not where I'm at yet I don't think. Instead I'm going to concentrate on something that I should have been doing all along - making myself happy and looking after myself in every sense of the word. And a good start will be concentrating on an amazing trip to the US, UK and Europe starting in mid September excited I've got a long way to go yet but damn it I'm gonna make it happen!
