Is it just me?

Am I the only one who has a problem wording things? It's become an obsession with me for the past three years, now. If I don't word something well enough, I get frustrated. I want all of my thoughts, written reports, journalistic ventures, and so on to be legible and succinct enough to be respected by the everyday person. I've been adamant about that. It's an everyday obsession. I have to THINK something to a respectable degree or else I'm going to lose it. Once I draw a blank, I notice that my inconsistencies get the best of me. And once THAT happens, I confuse my inconsistencies with my iniquities. Then, I feel inept in every sense of the word. It's a neverending cycle of confusion. I'm forever in transience, searching for the hierarchy of transcendent convalescence. I value that. I find solace in the mere concept. That'll be the day, boy. That'll be the day. sad

Let go of the perfectionism....

it only matter to you.

It's not healthy.

Keep it simple.

From your posts on here you're just really wordy and people tend to tune out quickly.

Try to be more succinct and you'll be more effective at expressing your thoughts to others...imo anyway.

I used to be overly wordy too. I broke that spell though. Trust me, it's much better to keep it straight-forward and economical 99% of the time. Make an effort to grade your language for who you're communicating with if need be, though just contemplating this can make you feel like a pompous cunt. Besides, you'll find most of the time those extra words weren't really expressing anything more anyway, except perhaps either betraying your insecurity (need to constantly find ways to show your intelligence), or your obsessive nature (say, perfectionism).

Words are words are words. Surely the point is to be understood. I've seen shopping lists that are better writing than your posts (and mine).

Great perspective. I feel somewhat reassured. I do like a pompous cunt, sometimes. But I swear to God it's not like that.
