Add to that that you're dating one of the most indecisive people I've ever met ("so what you wanna do today?" "I don't know"), sound familiar? giggle Then you HAVE to make the decisions.
But you're right, being on your own you have no choice - sink or swim. nod

I'm not sure if I'm indecisive. I think I'm not.

Decisions at work - make them no problem, not always right decisions but I'm happy to make them.

Decisions at home - that's completely different, I'm totally rubbish at making decisions about my personal life.

I'm the youngest of eight. I'm terrible at making decisions. I have had to work hard to improve this personality trait.

I'm generally very slow and deliberate. Tend to examine everything from every angle. But there are very few things that are urgent in life and this M.O. has served me very well. Once my mind is made up, I act decisively and don't look back.

I am usually pretty indecisive. (I'm a Gemini, so I have to look at things from at least 2 perspectives.) I am horrible to shop with--having too many choices overwhelms me. I need to only have 1 or 2 options otherwise I will pick one thing out but then have to compare/contrast with all the other styles/options forever; I'll generally change my mind multiple times before making a final decision. And sometimes I'll look at things for an hour and decide I don't like any the choices well enough to buy any of them! I even annoy myself with my inability to decide sometimes.

I also have a tendency to over-analyze everything which compounds the indecisive issue. Because then I'm like, "Did they mean this? Or did they really mean that? If they meant this then maybe I should do x. But what if they meant that--maybe I shouldn't do x because they'll think I meant y." err

Even something as great as being somewhere with an open bar is a pain for me...there are too many choices of what to drink so I just end up ordering the same boring beer I always drink instead of trying something new. lol

I'd like to think I am....I know I'm not the best leader out there, but based on my experience, the ranks and positions I've held, and the general acclaim that I've garnered, I'm fairly certain I don't screw things up too badly.... lol

...seriously, though, no matter how good your decision making skills are, if you don't have good people executing your decisions and plans, you're gonna be sleeping with the fishes in a relatively short time....
