I'm getting much better. When I was married my husband made many of the decisions. Now that I'm on my own I've been forced to be the decision maker. I'm sure I'll make some mistakes, but it feels really great to be my own boss so to speak. I'm learning I'm a lot better at making decisions than I thought! woot!

One of the best decisions I've made is to go back to school and become a nurse. It's a job that I'll love and it suits me really well.

Add to that that you're dating one of the most indecisive people I've ever met ("so what you wanna do today?" "I don't know"), sound familiar? giggle Then you HAVE to make the decisions.
But you're right, being on your own you have no choice - sink or swim. nod

I have a problem with my SO that if he says what you wanna do today, if I say "look at planes!" or "visit my sister!" or "ice-cream at the beach!" he doesn't want to pout so I usually leave it up to him.

no, he's mr productive
he always has little cards with lists on them
if we can do something that achieves some of those things then we're in business

like for example of he has to drop a drum kit off to the drummer in the band (who lives with my sister) then a visit to my sister is an option lol and we can go past the sound guy's place to pick up the PA or something on the way. He will make me drive so he can make 10 phone calls.
In the end, I rather just stay home dead

What are you, his driver? disbelief

You should go "_I_ am doing this today - what are you going to do?" It's what I did with my ex when I got tired of asking him what he wanted to do. nod

You could say Ariel is indecisive or how I choose to see it is that he is determined to please me and make me happy.
