And I agree Phillip Seymour Hoffman is also a terrific actor. I thought he was wonderful in Charlie Wilson's War, too. Oh, and I must add Viola Davis was fantastic! My favorite Meryl Streep movie is Sophie's Choice. I only saw this movie one time on T.V., and it was so sad and haunting, I will never watch it again. I thought about it for days.. weeks. Speaking of, one actor I think is underrated is Kevin Kline. He was fantastic in Sophie's Choice. I loved him in Cyrano de Bergerac on PBS, Great Performances. I also think Javier Bardem is underrated even though he has been getting a lot of attention lately. One of my favorite actresses is Juliette Binoche. I loved her in Chocolat, Blue, The English Patient. There are so many. really all of her films.


Let's see overrated... mmmm I am not a huge fan Angelina Jolie or Julia Roberts or Jennifer Anniston either. Regarding the men let's see I like Johnny Depp, but I would him to do more traditional roles rather than the quirky stuff. I really like him in Chocolat, actually. Let's see.. George Clooney is only OK, and for me Brad Pitt is only OK. I am not a fan of Tom Cruise either. They are good, but I just think somebody like Javier Bardem is better.

I also like classic actors and actresses like Bette Davis, Marilyn Monroe (I just saw her in Niagra Falls), Elizabeth Taylor, Grace Kelly, Katherine Hepburn mmmm I can't think of their names. I think Natalie Woods was an underated actress from that era maybe? I like Paul Newman, Carey Grant, Jimmy Stewart, Sidney Poitier, Spencer Tracey just to name a few. I like Gene Kelly, Bing Crosby, and Frank Sinatra.

I also love Robert de Niro, Al Pacino, and Dustin Hoffman--but more their older movies. The Godfather (I and II) are my most favorite.
