This is easily the stupidest thing I've ever seen on the web...

Now PETA are not only advocating "humane" euthanasion of dogs as opposed to rehoming them, but there are also "sea kittens". Somebody pass the crack pipe.

if you're going to be an animal rights organization, you should not only advocate for the cute ones. whether PETA's attempt to get the FWS to ban fishing altogether is realistic, is another story. still, it's their job.

I bought sea kittens mail order from the back of a comic when I was younger. They were meant to hatch after a few days, but nothing ever happened.

Bought a tank for them and everything....

i've found that people who disagree with PETA will always see their actions as ridiculous, and people who support PETA find them imaginative. so, to a degree, i agree that PETA has created its own enemies, but at the same time, their points are quite valid.
