But there's more than one of each! So it isn't a single fucking question!

having a bad day, Genesia? why are you hating on this kid? he's just asking a lighthearted question, for goodness sake!

The thing is I do know it's lighhearted and nothing to talk about for hours and I was hoping people who answered this question would know that too, but it seems like some people can't get off their high horse lol

Can you read?

"Which one do you prefer and why?"

There it is, the one and only question that was to answer for people that know how to!

I had never thought I'd be involved in this kind of discussion falloff Too cute!

But there's more than one of each! So it isn't a single fucking question!

With the exception of a hard Cockney, I generally prefer British accents. I do, however, love a sort of neutral midwestern American tone with a hint of specifically Boston or Louisiana (but not Cajun).

okay, wait a minute.
let me see if i got this right.

PLEASE tell me you're not one of those people that lives in the US, but because you "visit" England a lot you talk with an English accent.

you live in England, right? because if you don't live in England, i don't care how many freaking times you visit there, you're INTENTIONALLY speaking like that. which bugs the crap out of me, and reeks of what i like to call "douchebaggery".

Neither. I prefer Spanish, German and dutch accents. I love when people whose first language is not English and they struggle to find the equivalent of a word. It gives me a girl woody. drool

I'm born & raised in America, but I've been told numerous times that I sound like I'm from England. Go figure...I mean figour!

To answer the question, an english accent is nice, but like Americans, it really depends. Bond? Nice accent! Listening to Amy Winehouse speak is like torture. I'm not too fond of Eliza Doolittle, either "eh wouldn't it be loverly?"

James Earl Jones, on the other hand. Isn't he American? John F. Kennedy? hideous! Your average sorority girl? Not so good. Young Kathleen Turner? Nice!

My point exactly. Thank you.
