omg I know exactly how I'd handle that weather - I'd be in the f*****g airport going somewhere warmer. It was -2C (about 29) here one night last week and I wasn't happy.
It must be the recession's fault - not enough global warming last year nod
Though there's been no snow or frost here in Dublin yet this winter so I'm still on my bike every day.

I went to court this morning to see the young offender that stole my mother's van christmas eve... ironically since my car is snowed in and I just got the van back from $3500 in repairs, I drove the van to the courthouse. confused

Gotta love it when the nostril hair gets all crunchy.

It's cold in New England too...and we're expecting more snow tomorrow. Normally I don't get antsy and annoyed until March but it came real early this year. I think we've had 3 storms already with much more to come. I'm considering a move!!!

It came super early here this year too. And I've already had a break. I need another one. I'm getting out of here for a long weekend to somewhere warm or it's gonna kill me.

Coldest temperatures in 5 years.

The Twin Cities Metro will see temperatures near -20 below by sunrise Thursday which would be the coldest since January 30th when the low dipped to -24 below. The record low for the Twin Cities is -37 below set in 1888 - the coldest low for January 15th in the Metro in the past 100 years is -32 below set in 1963. Along with the bitter cold air temperatures will be dangerously cold wind-chills through Friday - the National Weather Service has issued a WIND CHILL WARNING through Friday for Wind-chills down to -40 below and possibly even colder at times - these kind of temperatures and wind-chills can lead to frostbite in minutes to exposed skin. Temperatures will moderate back into the 20s by the weekend and some light snow will come along with the increase in temperature.

Eh... it all feels the same to me once it gets around 0 F.

It's going to be a heat wave starting Saturday, though. Highs in the 20s and 30s for at least a few days! eek

I'll have to break out the shorts like this kid:

For the last few days, we have been in the mid 70's, and today we will hit 78 sun
anyways, yesterday at work, a bunch of us wimps were just saying how fortunate we are to live where, 50 feels cold. Damn guys, how do you all do it? I could not function in that weather, I would be under the covers, in flannel jammies, big fluffy socks, and the fire place on at all times! boxed

I used to read these threads and be grateful of the warm weather in Texas. But now that I am adjusting to my first winter in Canada, I can relate.
