Great guy. I met him once at a Bucs event. It is a shame that he got blamed for the Bucs being a bad team. Glad he left and proved them wrong.

And he's 15-33 with the Chiefs. Herm sucks and players don't seem to respond to his coaching style or sumthin. He's been given 9 seasons so it's time to let him GO.

As for his coaching, if you can't get past .500 in NINE seasons, you need to get gone. This is ONE example where a brutha did get multiple chances and didn't rise to the challenge. Considering that there appears to be a maximum number of minority coaches allowed at one time, I'd rather somebody else get a chance. There's prolly another Mike Tomlin out there waiting to be discovered. But Herm's taking up space.

Its a sad day for me because I genuinely like Tony Dungy...both as a coach and, more importantly, as a man...though I'm not remotely as religious as he is, he is still an inspiration as a leader, and many of the things that his players say he demands in the locker room and the field, I demand the same of my troops....(except that whole "no profanity" thing...sorry, bruh, I can't roll with that one...)...he will be sorely missed!! The league needs more like him....

You're prolly right but that doesn't justify letting him keep his job when he continues to perform poorly. I think that in THIS case Herm's been giving just as much of a chance as a white coach. Most coaches get 2-3 years to turn things around and he hasn't been able to do so in two different franchises.
