Yep, I can certainly dig that, because I've seen tough cats - both actual and professed - freeze once the shit is goes down and I've seen passive people lose it once the shit goes down. When I did grand jury duty, the majority of the cases were sexual abuse done by family members to minors. I couldn't take hearing the stories anymore, and just wanted to run out of there. Bless you for having the strength to deal with that, and it is sad that many victims suffer psychological damage from that experience and may end up doing the same to one of their relatives. It's like no one is there to save these victims, then down the road, many of them turn out to be like those parents, it's a catch a no win situation. | |
