THOMASVILLE — A five-year-old Thomasville girl was killed by three pit bulls on Monday.

Thomasville Police said the child, identified as Cheyenne Peppers, was pronounced dead at a local hospital just before 5 p.m.

• Metro and state news Investigators said the girl was playing in her yard when she was attacked by the family’s pets.

Police said the canines were turned over to animal control officers to be euthanized.

Authorities have not determine if any criminal charges will be filed.

There are exceptions of course but almost NOBODY GOOD owns these damn dogs. The parents absolutely should be sent to jail because it's virtually guaranteed that they trained these dogs to be fucking thugs. This shit sickens me so much. That poor little girl

Bad owners = uncontrolled dogs= lethal weapon.

I don't blame the dogs, just the owners

shoot the dog first then shoot the owner, even if it is a parent

Yeah usually. A few weeks ago I saw a guy walking two of them and their leashes were heavy chains around their necks. It was more like they were walkinng him. It's too bad for the animals that they train them to be vicious. The owners are the real animals!

Just remember, the pit bull is not a vicious breed, they just happen to kill alot of people in a viscous manner.

These dogs act out on how they are trained.
I used to live next dog to a pit that was ever so gentle. Wouldnt hurt a fly.
She was the kids pet and was brought in as a pup the same week their first born came home.

Then, of course there is the pit that went after my babies, but mulled my dog instead. This fucker ripped my dog to pieces right in front of my kids.
The dog was later identified as a trained fighting dog. Gang member where his owners. I had the dog put to sleep and gave the vet bill to these bastards,.

again, its all about the way you train your pets.
I wouldnt leave my dog unattended with kids, much less a baby.
He is jealous, but he was also hit by small children before I got him.
No matter how much training, the memories are there, and he reacts to them.
