iTunes-help needed.......PLEASE!!!

Somehow I have changed the settings in iTunes, now it sorts the songs that I import in alphabetical order instead of the original order of the album.....

Please help, I'm about to get very mad pissed.....I hate it when I have no clue in these things!

Thanks!

Then it is just a view issue, up top next to where you see what tune is playing there are 3 buttons that change the view. Change it there

It may just be a case of clicking the headings at the top of the page.
Where it says Name, Time, Artist etc.
If you click these, they put things in alphabetical order either from A-Z or Z-A in whatever category you've clicked.
So if you click in the Album heading it will put all the albums in alphabetical order and I think the tracks will then be listed in the order they are found on each album.

I hope this helps, and I apologise if it doesn't smile

I think that's the problem. I use playlists for my albums, and I think the button that sorts them in the proper order is just a small triangle, to the left of where it says "Names."

If that's not exactly the fix, I think it's something close to that

if you click on "songs" it shows them by alpha order. Are you in that selection? If you go back to your playlists you see albums no?

I have had this problem too. I seem to remember the ipod using the order that the itunes was using. So I think you might need to solve it on Itunes first. We'll see...
