Digital TV question......

As of February 2009, all TV signals will be digital. Does this mean my HD bill will be reduced?

When have you ever known the cable company (or satellite company) to lower prices? lol

HELL no.
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

the US provides TV over the air. I haven't had cable for years, and the four crappily received channels makes it really easy to actually turn the TV off. lol

Also there was a time when I had free internet from NetZero, but it had annoying ads.

that's not true as far as I know. that's why you need a converter box, so you can keep getting a signal over the air

Exactly.

So when the converter box gets the digital signal, will it be a clean signal? The analog signal was fairly weak.

As with analog, it's going to depend on your location and your antenna.

I heard that it won't have the same distortion analog has, but that sounds a little too good to be true, doesn't it?

My guess is you might not have distortion, but you might also not get a channel at all instead of getting a weak signal.

If it is a clean signal, I'm going 2 recommend that people who don't really watch a lot of TV get that box and slice their cable/Directv bills 2 ZERO.
(for those with budget problems)

yeah cable is expensive! One bummer with this change is that you used to be able to get analog cable for about $15, but they didn't really advertise that. So I'm guessing a comparably cheap digital package is now off the table.

I just moved and now I have no cable, no landline, and no internet, no netflix--and a kind of boring house lol
