My current favorite (and has been for about 3 to 4 years now) is Ages of Mythology, a real time strategy game played on PC or mac.

The last game that I seriously played happens to be my favorite. I loved Wild Arms, which came out for the Playstation back in the late 90s. After I finished the game, I got rid of my Playstation and never bought another system. The two actions were not related.

... was one of those games you could play for hours, where you wouldn't die,
and you could free roam riding futuristic air bikes, kick cows!! swim around, collect stuff a real gem
... the game had it all.
A great game for young kids as well as us Big Kids.
For a PS2 Title the graphics and gameplay are second to none....

I wasn't into video games back in the 80's when I probably should have been. It wasn't until I started buying home consoles that I got hooked. My favorite would be between 'Resident Evil' and 'Metal Gear Solid'.
