baking question

Can I just fold a bunch of frozen raspberries into a basic brownie batter and bake them and have it turn out all yummy?

Would that mess up the batter? Should I thaw them first?

It sounds like it will be good, but you have to be careful with baking. You can't always just make stuff up.

It will work just fine. You might toss them in a little bit of flour first. Do not thaw them. They will turn to mush.

Nope - the water will start to thaw them. Trust me - keep 'em fully frozen!

I toss my frozen berries under cold water fast then into the flour and then into the mix and oven - they don't thaw much at all in the minute it takes to do that lol

That's a good idea. I might have suggested chopping the rasberries into smaller bits before flouring them, but I think either way it'll be great.

Sure! Just be sure not to toss them in flour because the acids from the raspberries interact with the flour in such a way that they cause a potent poison that slowly kills you. Once you ingest it there is no way to avoid the painful drawn out death that will inevitably ensue.

Whoops! Just read the rest of this thread! I'm sure you'll be fine! woot!
