Not always are our first impressions right or do people neatly fit into our expectation. If we assume things because we think that goes according to type, we can be so wrong, yet at other times sooooo amazingly right it isn't funny, or maybe it IS funny lol

I have a friend who fits into an "aussie" stereotype so much so, when I described her to my husband, he said let me guess what her 2 children are called, and he got it right without ever having met any of them.

Roo and Wala? lol

What if someone deserves a negative judgement. Is that still judging or is it something else?

God yes. I really tried not be. I used to think I was the most openminded person in the world. I'm still pretty open but some stuff I just can't tolerate. I think we all have to make judgments at some point.

Making judgements is not always a negitive
I agree. biggrin

Should we consider our judgement of others and ourselves be considered as a reflection on ourselves?

sometimes, yes. considering most people (probably) judge others based on their own belief system, it's difficult to say for me to say judgments aren't a reflection of ourselves in a way. i've also noticed sometimes i am irritated by behavior in others that i exhibit myself (or would like to lol ), which i've long thought of as my worst trait, or one of them.

sometimes, though, i think we just judge and it means nothing essential about us other than what we think of another person. shrug smile

Is Judgement bad if we have done it internally, and then checked ourself for being ridiculous and the person never knew the wiser?
