Heartbreak Ridge...one because it was a military movie...but mostly because he was soooo over the top....it was almost like a parody of himself, and it was pulled off well, IMHO....

The Gauntlet and some of the early Dirty Harry flicks merit honorable mention...

I love alot of Clint Eastwood's movies. These would have to be my faves:

5. Dirty Harry - He's mad as hell & he's not gonna take it anymore, punk.

4. Bridges Of Madison County - He's lonely as hell & he's not gonna take it anymore, punk.

3. The Man With No Name series - A gunslinger that epitomizes the strong, silent bad-ass type so much that it's hard to believe that there was actually a time in movie history that this character didn't exist.
Pard'ner.
...oops. I mean....
Punk.

2. Unforgiven - This film could've also been called "The Final Chapter Of The Man With No Name, But Now We've Given Him A Name, Punk."

1. Million Dollar Baby - This movie had me at "Mo Cuishle".

There's so much hype surrounding this movie, I want to go see it as well...

That's the one...

...Clint running game on Geraldine Page.

The Sergio Leone trilogy...

A Fistful of Dollars
For a Few Dollars More
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

...were also pretty good.

I also enjoyed him in (though not a movie) the Rawhide TV series as...

...ramrod Rowdy Yates

This is the landscape of Rawhide. Desert, forest, mountain and plains
It is intense heat, bitter cold, torrential rain, blinding dust
Men risking their lives, earning small reward, a life of challenge-Rawhide.
It is men like trail scout Pete Nolan, the cantankerous Wishbone, ramrod Rowdy Yates, good natured Mushy, and trail boss Gil Favor
These men are Rawhide!

The Bridges of Madison County. I hate his new movie, its falls into the cliche movie genre. you know, white rich guy has to help out poor trouble minority escape the grasps of poverty and gangs. which all began with that stupid "freedom writers" movie.

I actually hated the second half of Million Dollar Baby.

And why is he talking like that in movies now? He doesn't talk like that in real life confuse

definitely Dirth Harry, and some of the westerns like Good, Bad & Ugly, Unforgiven, Outlaw Josie Wales.

And with Bird, he introduced me to Charlie Parker and Forrest Whittaker, nice!
