Lately, I've been on an late '80's early '90s black comedy henge. Been watching everything thing from Def Comedy Jam to In Living Color to Robert Townsend's Partners in Crime to Eddie Murphy films. And is it just me or did black comedy from that era own all? Just look at all the comedians who came from that era and became somebodies.

Best young Black comic? Good question. I'd have to go with Mike Epps as far as stand-up. He's not too funny in films though.

Damn, I just don't see Epps being funny in films. He has his moments but I just don't see him consistently being funny in films.

I adored Bernie Mac and Robin Harris. Dave Chappelle was funny as all fuck. The only recent guys I can think of are Damon Williams and Deon Cole, both from Chicago.
