I color my own hair now too. I have gone cheap and do Great Clips and no more sulfite free shampoo and get the cheap drug store crap (L'Oreal). But my hair is short now and a hack job that they do at those cheap spots can be remedied by my little razor cutter that I use shape up my hair cut at home after the cut.

Now if I had long hair I would NEVER go to beauty school rejects for an edge up. Cut my hair budget from $125 a month down to $50.

I guess I can go with the cheaper haircut because if they mess it up its hard to tell on my hair anyway, its layered and wavy. I would like to try a sulfite free shampoo, just to see if I see/feel a difference, I need to look for one nod


sulfite free shampoo makes you color last super long. I buy Kenra....used to buy Kenra. sad

I didn't know that! eek I thought it was just better for the hair, if it makes the color last longer, thats even better! biggrin
