I'm a douche-bag when meeting old friends from high school... So I'm chillin' at the Star Bucks here in Hoover Alabama. Hoover is a suburb not far from where Natalie Holloway used to live.
Anyways, I was JUST approached by a guy named Jeff something-or-other, who apparently was a friend of mine in High School. He came up and said, "Daniel?? Daniel?" then slowly pronounced, in surgical manner, my entire name. "yes?" I said , We got to talking, and apparently we were friends in high school who used to crack each other up and have a great time. I. have. no. clue. who. this. guy. is. Apparently there's a high school Reunion next year, and I'm supposed to attend it , so I guess I'll go. But have you ever had someone from high school approach you (or college or anything) and you have no clue who they are? If it was just an acquaintance or classmate I'd understand. But Jeff apparently was a bonafide friend of mine Lawd, I spent to much of my 20s drinking and partying.

It's funny 'cause I NEVER run into anyone from my high school. It's almost strange. I ran into this one girl at a JAI concert once. I used to think she was soo cool. I said hi and she seemed to remember me but she kinda brushed me off.
Yeah, I was a nerd in high school. MyeternalgrattitudetoPhil&Val.Herman said "We want sweaty truckers at the truck stop! We want cigar puffing men that look like they wanna beat the living daylights out of us" Val"sporking is spooning with benefits"

It's weird, I never run into people I went to high school with either. I grew up in a small East Texas town. Many of the people that I went to school with moved to Dallas (which is where I live now) and I never see them at all. Hell, one of my classmates lives less than 3 miles from my house and I never see her.
Now, when I go back home, I run into people I went to school with. It's weird, I hardly seem to remember any of their names. Some of their faces I remember, but I cannot spit their names out to save my life. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

I deleted my facebook profile and it was like a huge weight had lifted off my shoulders. At first, it was fun seeing old photos and then it just got a bit too involving...

you have no clue who they are? I once actually told a classmate all my names (I got four) when I was 13 and she walked up to me when I was , proclaimed those names loudly. In the middle of a shopping street. 20 years later. Just imagine me, while I am standing there, nailed to the floor, transfixed, looking slightly panicky and thinking; who the fuck IS this person and WHY does she know my names? I also seem to chat to a lot of people. Especially at Prince concerts; I get recogised ten years after the fact by people I spent one day with, then forgot about immediately.

I think I'm going to keep my facebook account. I've found that it's great for keeping in touch with old friends and keeping up to date with the going ons of everybody.

I told him straight away that I didn't remember him Hence, him launching into a series of stories about "us" very strange. If I had spent any time with you though, I'd surely remember it, though. Just sayin

Elaborate, please. And, as you stated you were a drugs-abusing person earlier in life; what is the most horrid story about yourself you can't remember and had to hear back from other people?

It was interesting to hear your voice, very nice.

UGH, I hate that video I don't do the "gator" myself you know I was just trying to convey my true horror at having to witness it performed at a Tampa night club by a bunch of cowboys. But thanks for the compliment
