Seed Companies? Do you have favourite companies from which to buy seeds and plants? I'm looking for organic, heirloom and grasses that will survive in Michigan ~ short growing season that can get quite hot (Zone 5). I'm already getting the itch to turn the soil and plant some new little babes for Spring and Summer. Music is the language of the spirit. I'm interested in the idea of heirloom ones. I do think it's horrible how we only have a couple of varieties of most things for supermarket bulk purchases

Hey N!
I could recommend some great places in Sydney but that wouldn't be of much help to you at all! Good luck with it. --»You're my favourite moment, you're my Saturday...

It was lovely to speak with Ian ~ sounds like everything is going well for you. We have tons of snow and freezing cold here so dreams of flowers keep me from being completely nuts this time of year. Awww -- we missed you guys so much too. We had such a wonderful time in Michigan last Christmas and New Year. I missed having that gorgeous White Christmas. We'll have to do it again sometime in the not too distant future I hope. I'm sure you'd love have some of our weather right about now though, it's pretty hot here. Much love to you as always. I'd recommend to you the one I work for, but I think we only supply to greenhouses, wholesale, etc.

I work for a seed/plant company too. We ship to anywhere in the U.S & Canada. I honestly didn't really start buying plants & stuff until I worked there. You're kinda forced to learn about them once you're there. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

Yes, thanks for the vitory seeds link. I've never heard of them. I'm in zone 5 in SE Michigan. I am obsessed with planting tomatoes and only choose heirloom varieties. I have had tremendous luck with Brandywines.
