Do You Go To The Movies or Wait To Rent? Movies are Great but so is Renting.

Depends on the movie. If it looks like it would be actually really good,or it's a movie that I know that nephews would love I go,and spend the money to see it big screen, but if I am only a little sure of how it will be I wait, and rent. The last movie that I saw in the theater was Wall-E. I Wall-E. [Edited 1/1/09 12:45pm] Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life. ~Berthold Auerbach

I really enjoy going to the movies, and before the kids came along, my wife & I would go see just about every good movire that came along in the theaters.
Now, however, we go see a really good movie only when a babysitter is available. Otherwise we get to see just about every PIXAR movie that comes along in the theaters. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

Well I only go to the movies unless its something I absolutley want to see...unless i'm going on a date and not paying for the movie, then in that case I don't care if the movie is worth seeing or not. Otherwise I just look at when its available on Demand. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Sci-Fi movies are great for the big screen... depending on certain Action movies, they too are great for the big screen... other films, it depends on the kind of feel I'm getting from the movie... if I'm not really feeling it, I'll wait for it on cable..

Some movies such as sci-fi and action, I want to see on the big screen.
If just going to be talking or a comedy, I can wait. Dramas can go either way so some are big screen pics and others aren't. I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

More often than not I go by myself. Mostly for the convenience of being able to go to a movie that starts in say 30 minutes. I can, rather than try to find someone etc. Also easier to get better seating if it's crowded because there are plenty of single seats in good locations. I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

I hate that I've cut down my movie attendance so much these past few years, I really love going to the movies - there's nothing like seeing it in the theater, I don't care how great someone's home setup is
I care most when it's an independent film, I want those to get my box office $. & I have to really wanna see it, otherwise I'll NetFlix it... [Edited 1/1/09 16:16pm]

I get 5 for $20 from the hustle man that comes into the nail shop. New bootleg releases!
Who still PAYs full retail for movies? And hustle man's bootlegs are good, no people walking in front of the camera, no distorted sound or picture. GOOD illegal shit [Edited 1/1/09 17:07pm]

I still pay retail for DVD's in my collection. I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

It depends on the movie for me. There are trailers that comes on tv and I would say - this looks like a good rental -like "7 pounds" and "the curious case of Benjamin"...It has to be a special movie for me to say -Hey, I want to see that at the movies- like "Unborn"
oh Wall-E was one of the movies I had to see and buy. My kids loved it and so did I... Um... let me warm up my vocals
Me ME ME ME ME...U U U U U! | |
