A Truck Just Ran Over Me..

Or so it feels.

Standing outside, breathing in fireworks fumes made me SO sick yesterday, I went home wheezing, borderline hyperventilating.

Then, when I wanted to sleep (after the multitude of medicin started to kick in), there were a few bastids on the balconies of the backyard enlocsed gardens, throwing fireworks in our gardens until five AM and shouting matches.
Downstairs; "KEEP THAT SHIT OUT OF MY GARDEN!"
Upstairs ; "LALALALA BASTIIIIIDS!"
Fireworks; "BANG! POOF! KAZAM!"

The JOY of the new year. So I just was on the couch, wheezing until around five-ish. Then I was up at half past nine, of course. Thank [insert deity here] for FaceBook, new friends, AllMusic and MediaFire.

BUT... the party was GREAT. Me, a straight woman and nine lesbians. CUTE lesbians. Eating. AMAZING food. Talking. Laughter. Music. Dancing. FIREWORKS! Cute men chatting me up! And I made two new friends, it seems. REAL joy!

GOOD start of the new year.

I have an aerial fireworks display right outside my bedroom window. Can't hear anything besides fireworks, and the nightsky is lit up like day, and the smoke is like a low smog, people spend $1000's of dollars on illegal fireworks. Maybe the people with aerial fireworks should have coordinated the displays and come up with a show. That would have been so wonderful to have a continuous, coordinated show. smile

The ones in Sydney are always fantastic nod We had a display in Tasmania where I live in AUstralia and luckily enough we have a great view from out back porch and the litchen window as well as my sons room, so we got to see some pretty fireworks without the smell and the smoke

I hope you feel a bit better by now.

My head hurts a bit and my mouth is really dry.
Sadly, I just spent the evening with ppl younger than me. No cute lesbians and we ate Guinness pie.

Well, your party sounded like more fun. The one we were at consisted of men hitting each other (showing off) and flirting with the youngin' in the room.

Well. What can I say?

The food was AMAZING, btw. And I was chatted up by a cute guy while firing up the works.
And then, shock! Horror; I got shy and mumbled incomprehensible stuff.

No. A strange girl had a fit in the middle of a busy street and like Phil I got a Superman-complex. I went to the rescue.

There's nothing more to tell; we went back to my friend's place, where I started hyperventilating myself (smoke of the fireworks) and I went home becuz I have not ventilated in like ten years, so I wasn't prepared and did not carry my medicin.

There I wheezed for about half an hour and then I watched tv until the drunk neighbours stopped throwing fireworks in my garden and went to sleep.

hope you're feeling better now herman hug the pollution from the fireworks
was horrible yesterday. even where i live. perhaps it was so intense because
there was such a heavy fog which kept the smoke down at street level.

i spent the evening at home with my parents and some of their friends and at
midnight i watched the fireworks upstairs with my dog, who loves to watch all
those flashing lights. he's probably the only dog in our village who WANTS to
go outside december 31st. he doesn't care about the explosions, which just
draw his attention and he wants to go investigate. and he loves the display
of flashy fireworks in the sky.

i had to walk outside with him for over an hour in yesterday's cold ass -10
frost. from about 0:30 till 1:30 am. and even then he didn't want to go back
inside. lol. how did deedee and dexter respond to the loud firecrackers?

for a change i wasn't drunk on new year's eve. that was probably a first
since my 18th birthday or something. just drank tea and coffee. i guess
i'm one vice away from a pensioner's card now.

i haven't seen you online yet today so i guess you're catching up on some
much needed sleep. or did that cute guy find out where you live? eh? heh?

hope the meds haven't made you feel to groggy or sick since you haven't
needed or taken them in so long up until now.

aaaaanyway, vrolijk en gezond 2009 kerel. tot snel!

I was up rather early. Just slept a few hours. And as I could not
get a hold of Angelique (she borrowed my chairs for the dinner), I
did not dare to nap in the afternoon.

So I just hung out on the internet a lot, unwrapped a few more of
the presents you sent me (some GOOD presents! The ones from 88 are
always the best!) and I took down my fake tree. It is good it's gone.
So we must have just missed eachother, cuz I wa slooking out for ya,
as I wanted to say hiiiii.

I also made a smallish attempt to tackle that second bedroom, but after
moving some furniture, I started to wheez again, like the wheezie
penguin from Toy Story.

Then Angelique came, I had a very early dinner and then I just zapped
some until The Mentalist began. Is that really a big hit in the US?
Weird people, those Americans.

Tomorrow my brother in law will come over to try and fix my computer.
I can only pray it works out, as this computer has got to go. And I
miss my dearly beloved editing program. And I need to get myself some
presents. I haven't given myself ANY presnt since April. As soon as I
start, I'm sure I won't stop; my wishing list is like the Mississippi.

Oh, and the meds were okay; they are like smooth ones, my episodes are
never THAT severe, unless brought on by something out of the ordinary.
Remember me telling you how I kilted over when they had to take some
blood for testing? I fell out of the chair, face first, and slammed
into the floor so hard.

And all of a sudden I know why the fake plate in my front teeth is
loose. LoL It just dawned in me. I will have to see a dentist. I HATE
dentists.
