I've said this a million times but here goes:
When I first came to the org back in the late 90s, I never really thought anything of it. I was actually a bonafide Prince fan back in those days and only came to the org to get news as the official Prince fan sites were dreadfully lacking in news but over brimming with propaganda. It wasn't until Nana's Prince photoshop competitions that I actually created an account that I could post with. And even then, I wasn't truly immersed in the site, nor understood all the freindships and relationships that were taking place. I used to see folks joke about Zelaira, Carrie and JD flirting, Fauxie being mean to everybody, Anxiety getting his ass licked in all the forums, Pepsi/Coke fights between Byron and Muse, and a whole manner of things that I thought was absolutely hilarious but I didn't really think anything of it. It never occurred to me that there were real friendships and relationships behind all the joking and flirting. My first interactions with anyone was with MiguelGomez and glamslamkid . Boy I loved those days. We ruined so many M&M threads I'm not sure how it happened, but it happened very quickly--i became the single most popular orger in the history of the org, eclipsing the presence of both 2the9s, photowhore divas, and Prince combined. And even still, I wasn't aware of the friendships boiling underneath. But slowly, over time, countless internet chats, I grew to really love some of you folks. The org has been so many things to me, given me so many experiences, that I view it less as a supplement to my personal life, but more as one facet of it now. I've met some of the most wonderful, gentle, kind, and considerate people of my life. There is nothing that I can possibly say that expresses my true gratitude to these folks. I hate the expression used her "IRL" friends. My org friends are just as much my real life friends as those around me--it just cost more to hang out with them I see a lot of keyboard commandos here, inventing personas and realities for themselves for the org's enjoyment or their own personal gratification--who knows which. But all I can say, is let down your guard and just meet some fo these folks. Nothing beats a night out with Carrie, sosgemini, and cborgman watching these folks get progressively drunk and girly drinks in the tropical Miami heat. Or Muse before 10 AM in the morning, with her pre-coffee darth vader voice--not to mention her beaming , beautiful smile. Nothing beats laughing yourself sick with mdiver and Shanti, (yes folks, Phil really ISN'T the asshole you think he is--he's a just a sweet little prissy sissy little girl). How about dancing the night away with FunkMistress on the dancefloor of a gay night club, and two drunk blokes like me and Jerseykrs trying to get on the org on the same crowded damned dancefloor on our cellphones . Nothing beats ice skating in the open air of downtown Cardiff Wales with onenitealone, watching his childlike charm--He's purely gorgeous and stunning to me The org is an amazing place. It's changed my life.

I've been convinced that there are GREAT peeps here on the Org since my recent deployment....many folks sent me great carepackages of food, books, bootlegs () and other stuff...and so many others were there in spirit with me through all of the well wishes and prayers for me and my fam back home....physically, we may not know each other, but spiritually, all of the folks here are as close as family to me....
I can never express how much y'all mean to me, but y'all are deep in my heart... He was like a cock who thought the sun had risen to hear him crow.

Pass the bucket! Supa's right - it's the best and worst on this site; always has been. And I don't care if people are lovely in a face-to-face situation; if they are absolute cunts online, their offline loveliness amounts to nothing.

Yes, this place is absolutely special. From all those great threads in GD to all those mindless drones in P:M&M pissing their pants everytime someone says Prince will most likely release an album this year. And all those gay men drooling over my pictures.
But the org also cost me a hell of a lot money because of all the music I got to know and had to buy!
