A friend is someone who sticks just as close if not closer than a brother/sister. They are there for you when the chips are down or when all is well. They can be your confidont (sp) counselor and advisor. They know you well enough to let you know when you're being a jerk or a real Stand up. Either way, they got your back now matter how near or far. AND YOU DON'T MIND HEARING it...afterwards.

i don't define "friend" because a friend can take on a lot of different roles, and you can trust/depend on them (and vice versa) on different levels and in different ways.
