If Your Husband Or Boyfriend Had A Gay Affair Would You Leave Him?

Or consider it a Temporary Lapse in JUDGEMENT?

Only if he didn't invite me to watch.

Actually, I did split up with my gay husband. But not because he had an affair. It was more because he's gay. That ended up being kind of a problem. Not as much of a problem as you might think, but a problem nonetheless. nod

Husband, no
Boyfriend, goodbye

Presumably I'd love the husband more.
But trust would be the deciding factor in both.

If I can't trust you goodbye, because I am not going to watch you.
I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

Well, as a guy, if I ever caught my girlfriend having a gay relationship,
I don't think I'd would leave.
I'd most likely stay.
And watch.

Yes. I might stay with a dude that cheated with a girl, but I'd be hard pressed to stay with him if he cheated with another dude.

This is a highly circumstantial question IMO.

First off, is the question of the Mr.'s sexual orientation. Were I with a bi guy, for example, a same-sex affair would surprise me a hell of a lot less than if he'd previously identified as straight.

Second is the question of whether we'd had an open or closed relationship. If closed, then most likely I would. An affair in a closed relationship is a breach of trust. If the relationship in question were open, it would depend on whether or not I knew about the extra affair. Many couples in open relationships do so on the conditions of openness and honesty. If one partner wishes to get involved with another person, their primary partner must know about it and give it the go ahead before anything happens.

So if the situation was an open relationship and I knew about and was okay with the other partner, it'd be all gravy. But if it was a monogamous partnership, or an open one but I didn't know about or approve of another person, then we'd have a situation.
