used to. many, many moons ago, when it was the only interactive element to this site.

have barely been in there since the forums were added. i imagine it's pretty lame in there without me.

I'm in chat as often as I can be, which isn't as much as I'd like these days.

Chat is no better than the Forums and the Forums are no better than chat, just different strokes for different folks.

There are some things to know about chat if you're just venturing in.

#1 We don't just chat about Prince.

#2 Chat will not grind to a halt just because you've graced it with your presence.

#3 Do not expect people to acknowlege you at first. Just jump in. There is no set topic.

#4 IF YOU TYPE IN ALL CAPS IT'S LIKE YOU'RE SHOUTING. And that will really bug folks.

#5 There are ways to set the chat room to your preference. Look under Color & Preferences. Emoticon info is found under Help

#6 Some people do not like the way the chat room is formatted. Deal with it. It just takes a little getting use to.

And lastly #7 Those in chat are not there to entertain you, we're there to chat about anything, everything and nothing. It's like the weather...it can change at anytime.

Tried it a few times. I find it weird in there, well...I find some of the people who post in there weird. Some are nice though....but really, it's kinda weird. Ok, really weird.

pretty much everything Nothinbutjoy said is true...the convo's can be all over the place, so if u are only interested in talking about Prince u may be bored. Most everyone is cool and will usually say hi, at least. Some people are crazy some are cool some lurk and some can't stop talking . There aren't really any bad ones in there and if they do seem to make it there and get outta hand luv is very swift with a or a or a and the really bad ones get in a NY minute.'

The most important thing I can say is to have a sense of humor and be prepared for anything...which can be really fun most of the time.

I've always enjoyed going into the chatroom and talking. If there is someone in there who gets on your nerves, there is always the ignore box. But after awhile, you get to know who the cool and not so cool people are.

I love it there I get to talk nonstop like I do in real life and I've made alot of fantastic friends in chat...and we talk alot of rubbish. Its fun
