I did gain weight after high school, but I lost all of it and more this year. I'm coming up on 6 years since I graduated and in that time, I gained about 30 pounds. I lost 35 pounds this year. The weight gain was due to a decrease in physical activity, lack of sleep, extremely poor diet, stress, and I'm sure that all of the emotional shit that I've gone through had to do with it as well.

Ex-Moderator | Yes, lots.
It's simply my lot in life to be fat. I was always overweight as a child, then was on weight watchers in high school and managed to get down to a size 8. That lasted maybe 1 year, then I slowly over the years went up to a 10, then 12, then 14, then 16, then 18, then 20. Then I lost weight a couple of years ago and went back down to a 14. Now I've gone back up to a size 18 since I've quit smoking. I'm hoping to workout a bit more regularly in the new year and see what happens. I'm not optimistic, though. |

Yes. I was 135 in HS, now I'm 152 "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

I had between 1997 and 2000. I just simply ate out too much on lunch break.
Bojangles was a regular part of my diet. I hadn't even realized i had ballooned to 278 pounds. So around 2001 i went on an intense workout plan and a serious cut back on fast and fried food. I did a lot of jump rope and jogging every other day and i got my weight down to 220 and buffed up. It made me feel good for people to say man are you sick or something and getting compliments from the ladies. I even weigh 225 today. Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint

i think so, yes
in high school i was 5' 9" and weighed 125 pounds... 20 something years later and i'm still at 5' 9" but i'm more like 170 pounds now... although when people guess my weight they say 150... i'm looking at that ^^^ and it looks like a lot.. but i can still wear a size 6 in some pants others a 10... and the 6's are not tight on me either... but some things i have now i didn't have so much of in school ... 'why y'all trying to say goodbye? I didn't go anywhere, I'm right here, im all around you,always..'
in a line from my dream, I heard a voice and saw a silhouette in a chair..

i lost weight after leaving high school. my diet was very horrible while i was in high school. it would consists of hamburgers in the morning, in lunch two bags of chips, then a big dinner which lacked of veggies. when i decided to go veggie in my senior year, i did out health reasons. i haven't lost alot, i've lost enough to feel somewhat confidant in myself.

Mostly from working out. When I come across folks I knew in high school(or college), they can't believe I'm the same person.

why? I already had a poor diet, and then I got a jo,and was able to get whatever I wanted, which included treating my family to dinners out alot. but I don't do that anymore, and I am slowly working on getting myself healthier. I stayed fairly close to my high school level until I quit smoking (five years this coming January), after which I predictably & gradually gained about a fairly massive amount of weight. I got tired of being such a fat sack of shit & started working out (mostly on an elliptical trainer) last January. I've managed to whittle myself down to my current 190 from my all-time high of 235 at the time I started.

Highschool finished in 1986 for me and Ive had three kids since What kind of question is that? Yes, I have gained some weight. When I graduated I was 96 pounds. Since then I have yoyo'ed up and down. I have dropped back to 100 a few times, due to stress and gone up to 138 at my highest, now at a steady 118. I cannot use the excuse of having kids for gaining my weight gain. I can use the getting older, metabolism excuse, I am coming up on 20 yrs since High school. Good lord..... I am old! Oh and Chilli, you look fine for having 3 children, so does Zombie. I doubt I would be that lucky.

rubbish!!! My dad and his whole family, including my half sister are obese. My weight fluctuates up and down a lot. I thank my mom for being really petite, it balances things out I think. I always say to my mom after I hug her, "I have weighed more than you since the day I was born". She only weighed 112 pounds when he gave birth to me. Lucky lady.
