ANYway....Divisional Round goes like this... Ravens over Titans Panthers over Cardinals ...definitely didn't see THIS one coming...say it with me now, kiddies...the CARDINALS will host the NFC Championship.... Eagles over Giants Steelers over Chargers in another close one.... 6-2 for the first two rounds.... so for next week I'm going with.... Steelers over Ravens...ONLY because the game is in Pittsburgh... Eagles over Cardinals...as a Saints fan, I just can't wrap my mind around the Cardinals...even if I've lived in AZ for the past 3+ years.... can't do it... I'm guessing the Steelers are the favs for the bowl. I'm hoping for Donovan and the Eagles though. [Edited 1/11/09 17:40pm]

What I don't like are the Rush Limbaugh types with their code words(not smart, not cerebral, etc.). It would serve Philly right if Donovan were to leave. Bears fans would love him. Jimmy Johnson dialed up a great game plan against my G-Men. Nothing worked out there - so many missed plays, turnovers and penalties. Eli looked lost without his safety blanket(Plax).

To me, Philly fans need to get over the fact that the team didn't draft Ricky Williams...I mean, really...I think Donovan worked out pretty good for them, yes? Unlike my Saints, who not only gave up their WHOLE draft to get Ricky, but then after 4 years on the team, let him go and have nothing to show for the whole ordeal..... Again, there are lots of us who love Donovan. I for one was ecstatic the Eagles drafted Donovan instead of Ricky (and I have my old website backed up to prove it). Hell, they already had Duce Staley at the time. One of my friends was a QB in that draft and I still thought Donovan was the best of the bunch. It remains laughable to me (in a "Thank You God" sort of way) that he was drafted after Tim Couch. It's looking more and more like the Eagles fans who don't love him yet will come around in 3 weeks. Look at Tony Dungy a few years ago or Tom Coughlin early last season. Winning the big one changes everything. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

Rock on steelers!
Bring on the ratbirds. I'm tired of Ray lewis, Terrell"buggseye"Suggs, and Bart Scott talking shit like everyone is supposed to be afraid of them. The ravens are good but i think they should know by now the steelers don't back down from them. It will be a hard fought game but i feel if the steelers execute and no turnovers especially from big ben the steelers can win that game. Don't laugh at my funk

Just want to add I think it will be Baltimore playing Philly in 3 weeks.
Baltimore is turning over the ball less and getting more turnovers on the other side. The offense of Baltimore puts up more points with less yards. I just think that it comes down to one thing; the coin flip. In that Pittsburgh weather, you want to be playing with the wind in the 4th quarter. Silence Speaks A Thousand Words.

As a Dallas Cowboys fan, I would like nothing more to see McNabb end up somewhere else. Having to play him twice a year, damn. You saw the record AlexE put up.
McNabb knows only how to win. You know after a bad year like last year, he was gonna bounce back. You knew after that benching earlier this year, he was gonna bounce back. The only thing was, I thought this year it was too little too late. Nope, it wasn't. Silence Speaks A Thousand Words.

you know that the Steelers and Giants are probably sweating like hoes in confession right now.... ...they are gonna run poor Jake outta Charlotte if they lose this game....so at this point after that endzone interception, he better fake an injury so that he can get his ass packed..... [Edited 1/10/09 19:47pm] I got so mad that I stopped watching. Of all days Jake decides to fuck up the most.....he did it on his birthday. This Superbowl isn't shaping up the way I want it to. I guess now I'm just hoping to see McNabb win a SB ring.....other than that I don't really care who else is in there. Dude ain't won shit and doesn't get upset, riled up, pissed off, or mad as hell when they lose. That's a problem when you're supposed to be a leader and need to motivate your teammates. His attitude is like I hate to say it but Jerry needs to get another QB and if Philly won't ack right he should get Donovan. [Edited 1/12/09 7:19am]

You're probably right that its more perception than reality, but the one thing that would correct that perception is for more Philly fans to come out in support of him, especially when the ESPNs and FoxSports are raving about how Donovan is about to get run out of town... He was like a cock who thought the sun had risen to hear him crow.

I thought sports critics talking about San Diego being 2-0 in Pittsburgh during the play offs was a stupid stat to use. First off all 2 is not a big number, now if it was 5-0 then thats something else. Second look at those two wins, first time in 83 with Dan Fouts (Dan Fouts, 70's/80's QB), and the second win was 13 years ago (Big deal). Dam stupid stat to bring up.
