"If you know a person to be a certain way and then all of the sudden, you have an extreme change, I don't know," LB Bradie James said. "I don't know how well that's going to be taken. I don't know what he means by that. But he didn't address us, so I don't know."

So Wade's going to turn into Bill Parcells? HA-HA! Yeah, the players will respect that. Please, they'll laugh at him behind his back. biggrin

Wade4Life!!!!!

But the best part is that they're already laughing at it in the media! That whole "team" (and I use the word loosely) is out of control! lol lol lol

Exactly. Hey, you are what you are. It's too late for Wade to start cracking the whip. It's like shutting the barn door after the horse has escaped.

They can have him and keep the picks. I think he will be feeling the heat and get out of Dallas after the comments by Romo.

For real. But what did Romo say? Did you hear about him collapsing in the shower after the game? rolleyes If that ain't a drama queen I don't know what is.
[Edited 12/29/08 16:28pm]

Romo blamed Jason Garrett and the play calling, so did T.O. The playing calling has sucked. That being said Romo has to know you can't hold on to the ball forever adn not be expecting someone to be coming from behind and knock it out of your damn hand.
If you're not doing the fucking, then you're taking one.

Oh and listen to Cris Carter's hypocritical, ignant ass talk about putting a bullet in TO. You know if TO had made these comments all hell woulda broke loose. confused

falloff The great thing about TO is that, since he's done so much dishing out, he pretty much has to take whatever he gets.

I love CC. "All he does is catch touchdowns." Only Buddy Ryan could make that sound like a bad thing. lol

Sorry but as one black man to another especially in the light of two NFL players being killed by guns in the last year to joke about putting his name on a bullet and BAM ain't even remotely funny IMO. And you know if TO said some shit like this folks would want him suspended. Not to mention Cris makes his comments about TO extremely personal like TO did something to him. shrug

Wade Phillips vows to change

Wade Phillips declared that things will be different around Valley Ranch next season.

"You can't just say everything is going to be all right," said Phillips, who has taken a pollyanna approach in the past. "But it's not going to be all right if we just keep doing the same things. And I'm talking about myself."

He'll come up with a plan over the next week or so, and the admitted softie vowed that he'd be more demanding. He recognizes that the relaxed atmosphere around these parts didn't produce acceptable results.

"It starts with me," said Phillips, who declined to discuss potential personnel changes but said offensive coordinator Jason Garrett and defensive coordinator Brian Stewart would return. "If you're not going to change the coach and you don't get the results you want, then the coach needs to change some things. I have to look at myself first - from how I deal with things, from how we have training camp, how we have practices, whatever. We need to alter some things. We need to adjust some things."

Phillips didn't meet with the Cowboys today, so the players will have to get his get-tough message through the media for now. At least one team captain was skeptical about it.

"If you know a person to be a certain way and then all of the sudden, you have an extreme change, I don't know," LB Bradie James said. "I don't know how well that's going to be taken. I don't know what he means by that. But he didn't address us, so I don't know."

Yeah, I don't know how well that's gonna work. He should prolly rely on the coordinators to play bad cop.

Oh, don't get me wrong -- it was definitely in poor taste. Still funny, though. I'm a man who hated Michael Irvin until I saw him walk into court to face those cocaine charges wearing a hat and a fur coat looking like a damn pimp! What can I say? I find that shit hilarious! falloff

I worked at the Cowboys Sports Cafe owned by him and Tony Dorsett during this time and EVERY time I saw that fucking coat I would just shake my head at that fool. It's something about them Florida nuccas that annoys me to my core. Mike, Emmitt, Deion, all them fools make my ass hurt and not in a good way. Nate Newton is the ONLY one that's genuinely a nice guy and tolerable. But the rest of them with their pinstripe zoot suits, fur coats and gators make me wanna get violent. pissed

lol
