A handful of really great mix CDs, some yummy coffee, a cute book, lots of gift cards, a makeshift Andy Warhol gift set, a 2009 calendar with lots of pics of kitties and a gift bag from santa filled with yummy goodies for me and cat toys for my kitty.
My favorite present this year, though, wasn't technically for me. It went to one of my best friends who happens to live upstairs from me. He was gifted with 2 of the most adorable tiny little kittens in the world that are just barely old enough to be away from their mother! I'm positively dying of withdrawal every time I step out of his apartment. They are sooooo freaking cute. |

I got my purse back. Long story to short, I was rushing about because my X got off early and in my haste left my purse at the store.... with 500.00 in cash tucked for a money order I was about to pick up inside. I was sooooo panicked. Ive never done anything like that before.
Now I am sitting in my bed where i intend to stay for the rest night. | |

I haven't received presents from my parents yet, because snow kept us from seeing each other. And I insisted that everybody else refrain from gifting. But my boyfriend predictably ignored me, and gave me a Chuck Palahniuk book, certificates to make custom postage stamps (we have ideas for subversive redesigns of US postage ), and a sex toy (which is more or less for him, but I get to wield it). So that was sweet of him. Even though I told him not to give me presents.
I also got mix cds from some of my favorite hipsters, which I always love. Mix cds are a totally valid exception. "What's 'non-sequitur' mean? Do I look it up in a Fag-to-English dictionary?" | |
