SUPRMAN said: No That is not a solution. IF I get there a half an hour before the movie to the seat of my choice, I am supposed to just accept an inferior seat somewhere which is no guarantee that I still won't hear the original offender or others.
Civility says that in sharing the experience we maintain as much silence as possible so as not to disrupt the experience of others. It only reduces to civility to accommodate such behavior, because then we model that manners and civility don't apply. dude ..you should be an attorney in this case lol.. .. you know folks today have no consideration, manners have gone out the door awhile ago..

If the government comes, they got bigger, better guns than any of you.

From "The Daily Sound" In Santa Barbara
Police said an argument over a cup of coffee resulted in a stabbing at a local movie theater on Friday evening. The victim, a 26-year-old local man, had apparently attempted to sneak the hot beverage into a movie at Metro 4 Theatre, 618 State St. “The guy at the door, the employee, took some offense to that,” Sgt. Ed Olsen said. Authorities said Francisco Javier Reyes, an 18-year-old Goleta resident and theater employee, followed the moviegoer into the theater and confronted him about the coffee. An argument ensued and Reyes — who goes by the alias of “Paco,” according to police documents — ended up pulling out a knife and stabbing the victim once in the chest, Lt. Doug Kresky said. “The suspect fled from that theater upstairs and attempted to hide the knife and some bloody clothing,” he said. Officers found the suspect in a projector room, bleeding from a cut on his right thumb, according to police documents. While being handcuffed, he reportedly told authorities, “I was just doing my job. That guy pushed me,” according to police reports. Authorities booked Reyes, who was on probation, into jail without bail for assault with a deadly weapon, Lt. Kresky said. The victim suffered a collapsed lung in addition to the single stab wound to his chest, and was taken to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, according to police reports. Hospital officials said he was released on Sunday.
