A store is a store

I'm still trying to understand the appeal of Kohl's :confused: I've been in that store twice, couldn't buy anything either time b/c it was just so chock full of... shit

gimme Target any day... though Walmart is a lifesaver if you're about to move - cheap tape & bankers boxes!

I prefer Target because they keep it so clean and neat in there. Walmart is a damn junky jungle, and too many damn people bump into me while i'm there. One time I got so damn frustrated that I just left the fuckin basket in the middle of the and aisle and left....after that, I learned my lesson about shopping there on the first of the month.

Kohls: Discount store full of junk. I only shop there for Bras.

K-Mart: Sort of junky, but you can't find everything you need in there. Like a low-class Walmart.

Walmart: A big ole' gigantic zoo. Stuff everywhere, boxes in the aisles, people everywhere, people's kids running all over the place....yet you can find everything you need in one spot without having to go to another store afterwards.

I love Kohls, I go right after the holidays, and stock up on next years decorations, gift wrap, bows etc.

Admittedly though, I usually go to Kohls for clothing only...I sometimes buy clothing at Target, but never at Walmart or Kmart.

Also - if you have a Kohls credit card, you sometimes get OUTRAGEOUS coupon deals.

I agree. Housewares and decorations are the best things Kohls has to offer. Their clothing is always a bit too pricey for me.

Santa Barbara does not have any of the above. No J.C Penny, no target, wal-mart or Kohl's. But we do have a cheapo K-mart. The only thing I ever buy at K-mart is, my smaller kids halloween costumes. For Kohl's I drive a half hour out of town.

If you get a Kohls card, they send you 15% off coupons, which is ON TOP of whatever sale price they have going on AND they sometimes have 15% off "use your card" promotions.
I bought my brother a smoothie machine...it was $40 List price. On sale for $19.99. There was a 15% "use your card" special, AND I had a 15% off Preferred Shopper coupon. Wound up paying less than $15 for it.

In my area,there are no K-Marts.They shut down several years ago.I can't say that I really miss it

Target is great....very clean and organized but I have to say that Wal-Mart has better prices.If you truly wanna save the most money,you can't go wrong with Wal-Mart.

Never been to Kohls.

Nope, we do not have one of them in my locale. I do most shopping at a regional grocer (P&C; a Central New York store) and I buy my vegetables at a local market that has locally grown stuff. I occasionally go to a store called Wegman's, but I do not like it there very much.

Kmart - because we have a deal with them whereby I can order online and have my purchases delivered to my desk at work.
