Would you ever take the bus 1 or 2 blocks? Barring crazy weather or having to carry something really heavy, would you ever see a bus and flag it down just for a block or two?
I am confused by this behavior. So if you do thiis please explain your rationale! Christian Zombie Vampires

If you really had to drop a deuce, the bus might just be the quickest way to relief and save you a change of pants.
Also, you're on the bus, so if you can't make it, you can duke and run. Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it. |

If I had a multiride pass on hand and I was being extraordinarily lazy, I might. But I'd not pay for such a short trip. [Edited 12/29/08 12:25pm] Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

That is a very strange question. Do people actually do that? A block or two? My Legacy

Here in San Francisco it happens all the time. We have a lot of hills, but still, I think it's more laziness than anything. Christian Zombie Vampires

Ex-Moderator | I'm a walker. I'll normally walk 8-10 blocks without taking the bus, unless it's super cold, raining or have I have lots to carry. Then I'll take for as few as 4-5 blocks. |

I have not taken the bus since I was in high school..

No.
If I was 80 maybe, or if I had to carry a sick child/person...otherwise my fat ass can walk.

I'll do it if I have a monthly pass, just so I feel like I'm getting my money's worth, even if it takes me blocks out of my way.
But I always deboard through the rear doors because I feel somewhat ashamed of my behavior. It's better if there's someone waiting to get on at the bus stop so I can better mask my behavior. If I see that far enough in advance I won't even ring the bell. Cause that's how I'm rolled!

I don't, because just climbing the steps on the street car, taking out my pass, putting back my pass, trying to balance myself until I find a seat, just to ring the bell to get off, sounds too much trouble, than just continue walking. (talking about bad weather and carrying lots of stuff with me)
But, if it was REALLY bad weather, where is really windy, with hail the size of tennis balls, I wouldn't think twice and hop on the bus.

Never. Walking is therapeutic for me, so I'm always looking for reasons to do it even when I probably shouldn't.

I find that people are really fucking lazy. A "long" walk to them is 3 blocks or more I hate the bus so much I'd only take it if the distance couldn't be walked. But if we're talking 20 blocks, gimme the walk (unless it's raining!)...

Another reason people may do it is to be on time to catch the next bus if they're connecting, if they're late the walk may make them miss it Other than that, theyz some lazy asses!
