Not real sure..either staying home with a bottle of wine, or hitting a party. With my luck I am pretty sure I have a date with that wine. giggle

Keep drinking lots of warm tea, take your vitamins( if you can swallow them) and stay away from dairy products. Hopefully you can get better before next week.

Christmas is 3 days long here in Germany. Everything shuts down at 2pm on the 24th and doesn't re-open until December 27th. I was up so late Christmas partying and stuffing my face for the last 2 days, all I could do is lie down today and recover from lack of sleep and gluttonous binging dead. There are some elderly folks in the American community here that sent me home last night with a doggie bag containing all the elements of a classic sourthern feast. So I'm going to be chowing down on some greens and cornbread dressing in a minute. cool

I don't know what kind of movie I want to watch, though.

The spread they put on for all the American expatriates last night was sooooo delicious. I saw the table and my reaction was like this:

eek eek eek

lol

I contributed a peach cobbler, I think everybody really liked it, too mushy

Now I just have to figure out what to do for New Year's confuse

Christmas ain't over for me--I celebrate right up until New Year's and then celebrate New Year's for about a week and then I take down the decorations. We don't have any plans for New Year's--too broke. We bought a nice bottle of champagne (Taittinger's) and we're gonna call it a night in front of the TV.

I don't know. My best friend is flying in from San Francisco tonight, and will be here through New Years, so probably something with him. My boyfriend and his partner are having a party. If BFF and I don't get dragged elsewhere, we might go to that.

I usually spend New Years by myself. It's kind of a tradition for me. If the opportunity presents itself, that's also a possibility. Sounds nice.
