A true loss. I don't know why they aren't making more mention about the significance of her controversial anti-war comments, which pissed of Lady Byrd Johnson and caused her to be blacklisted in the USA. THAT...and not her voice contribution to "The Emperor's New Groove"....is what they should be highlighting. I heard that she filmed a performance a few weeks(?) ago, which id to be aired in February on PBS(?). By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory! | |

I was so going to see her @ Orchestra Hall...two weeks ago...and I had planned on arranging a lunch with her...after reading her book "Rejuvenate" I read how she had arranged a lunch w/some of her idols, so I was going to take a page form her book to meet her while she was in town, then two days b4 the show she cancelled and I was so saddddd
