ok so we found out what we are having...

It's a boy...I'm still due 6/7/09 so far.

We have no boy names at all!

We were hoping for a girl and we decided on a name for her -it was going to be Seylah (say-la) Ali (ah-lee) and her room was supposed to be Hello Kitty stuff sad

Oh well, we are still happy that we are having a baby anyway but the hardest part is to name him LOL! We still have a long way to go.

excited I was wondering when I saw your Myspace message!!! I am soooo happy for you!!!! Congrats!!! woot! As for boy names....Christopher is a strong name. smile

Depends on your tastes, really.

Do you like old fashioned names? Classic? Trendy? Unusual or unique? Unisex?Made-up names? Names from other languages or cultures? Family names?

Congrats Newlyweds rose

I have no suggestions for baby names. I do not have any children myself.
How about using a family name?

Hope your due date stays the same..the 8th is ok too, that is my birthday.

Best wishes!

I tried asking my hubby about family names but they are too old...they are clarence, pascal, howard, chester, elvin, jack, don louise - these are our grandfathers and great grand and so on names

Congrats!

It all kinda depends on the boy's last name, dunnit? My family has a tradition of old fashioned names; loads of names from the bible in our family, as well as Jewish names.

Personally, I love short, powerful names, but also names that have more than one way of using them, like Jeremy, which could be Jerry also. Daniel could be Dan or Danny.

Enjoy picking names.

Btw, does the name Sayla Ali have a special meaning?

well Seyla I like the way it sounds and it is actually a mispelling of Selah which is in the bible about 78 times just in Psalms and it means to reflect and pause at something beautiful. Ali is the only middle name that went with the first name which means rock, upmost high, etc.

I liked Avery but he thinks the same too. My hubby's name is Stefen and I'm Stephanie and we wanted to do away with the "steph" stuff.

I've always loved the name Jack for a boy. Cute and simple.

Well, I've asked him to name him jack in french Jacque but he hates it. His grandpa Jack doesn't like it either. I'm thinking Jaxen (Jackson) but he hates it... neutral
