im away from my family in NZ and ive just made a video-54 seconds for my wee boy and it wont send as my yahoo account says its too big!!!

HELP what do i do??

and send a download link when it's done

you don't say the size of the file, but you could try uploading it to rapidshare, megaupload etc, or even to youtube, and then email the link

Yeah I doubt that an uncompressed avi file or .wmv format file would fit under your ISP's limit for the email system.

You'd need to convert it to some other format, or edit it (probably not).

Maybe some kind soul would let you have some space on their web site and you could use ftp to transfer it?

However, failing that try some of the free tools listed here:

Worst case you could convert into Youtube-compatible video and post it there (although Youtube now has an 'hd' service which allows better quality).

I hope that helps somewhat - I daresay someone else here will recommend specific apps.

Megaupload require the recipient to wait 45 seconds after clicking
the link and entering a captcha code, but you can send bigass files
using megaupload.

yousendit works without the hassel, but has a tighter size limitation

Easiest way - go to the Windows Movie Maker program, and when you export it, make sure you save is to a smaller format that fits whatever you need.
You don't need to start uploading it to sites for converting it, which if the file is big, will take all day long.
