I just decided to make one of Campbell's tomato soup. I start the electric stove, add the water slowly like the instructions say, and suddenly a flame starts until the pot. I think my roommate didn't clean the stove well enough, and something she cooked earlier went on flames.

But, that's not the hot I'm talking about.
I decided to spice it up. I have this bottle of hot sauce, made from carrot and mango (and hot peppers, of course) which is crazy hotter than tabasco sauce. You only need a couple of drops in a whole dish in order to make it hot. Well, it was in the fridge , and hot a bit chunky, so I shook the bottle, opened it, and shoot it under the soup to try and get those couple of drops in. Well...a whole chunk fell into the soup.
So if for some reason I start talking funny, with a swollen tongue, you'll know the reason.
