Is there a such thing of being too "independent"??? Please discuss. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I started a thread like this about a week or so ago. I thin that some men don't like that they can't impress me with the material things they have because I have my own. But I'm not looking for a man to do for me. I'm looking for a partner, a lover. If guys can't handle it, fuck 'em. I can sex myself, too.

Yeah that's what i'm saying. Why do so many men base what they can "give" you on how they feel like a man while they are with you? Why can't you just love me for who I am and just rub my back, kiss my neck and make love to me all night? Why does it have to be about the material things all the time???? I have yet to meet a man who is confident within himself and accepts the fact that even though I have my own, we can still make beautiful music together. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

not at all....the only time it matters is if said independent woman/person allows it to matter...
...I must be in the minority, because all I've done since I got married was trying to convince my wife to be independent and to keep going for hers... He was like a cock who thought the sun had risen to hear him crow.

...I must be in the minority, because all I've done since I got married was trying to convince my wife to be independent and to keep going for hers... its just too much pressure for one....and early on in the relationship, I got tired of that accusation coming out in our arguments...as in "you're trying to control me, yada yada yada..." even though I think she was saying that in a pre-emptive strike for the future... He was like a cock who thought the sun had risen to hear him crow.

No | |

missfee said: Please discuss. There really isn't. Some men will feel threatened by a woman's independence, but a man like that is not worth wasting time on IMO. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"
