I use to have a Conair facial steamer,i did'nt really like it. I got to hot,and it was a little hard to breathe with all the steam. I don't do it anymore, and I got rid of the steamer. Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life. ~Berthold Auerbach

No. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I do. Faithfully, twice a week. My method is boiling water over the stove, let it set for 2-5 mins and I drape a towel over my head and let the steam do its magic. (Also good with a little Vicks in it when you have a cold!) I also use Witch Hazel daily and collect truck loads of "we promise you no more wrinkles" creams.

What are the benefits of doing this?

Opens the pores to release the make-up, oil, dirt, etc. Running cold water on your face after cleansing will close the pores so that it's more difficult for those things to get in there.

Rinse with the cold water after that to close the pores back up.
