Airline Responsibility

Whose responsible for stolen items after TSA opens a piece of luggage outside of your knowledge?

Have you ever had anything stolen on a flight with no repurcussion to the airline?
LOVE HARD.

The airlines suck. They have so many loopholes that allow them to not be liable for anything. I have never had anything stolen, but have dealt with lost luggage and other things.

Good luck.

They lost a set of golf clubs of mine once. Ultimately, they did reimburse me something for them, but nowhere close to what they were worth. And they kinda acted like they were doing me a favor.

They can suck it.

Yeah, the airlines are the worst! They can basically do whatever they want and you can't do anything about it.

how about 4 suitcases were ripped open and about $4500 of stuff was stolen-and no one takes responsability.

It's called organized crime- you'd think someone would speak up and out.

change some laws

File a claim with the airline and they'll send you a check for the lost items. It takes forever but it's relatively easy. shrug

omfg That's horrible. Nowadays, it's easier and cheaper to ship things to your destination than to even deal with the airlines.
