What are your goals for 2009?

I strongly believe that 2009 is going to be a great year for me. My last great year was 2004, so I'm well overdue...and I feel that 2009 will BE MY YEAR because i've gotten rid of some of the clutter causing me stress in '08:

1. I broke up with my boyfriend (FOR GOOD) of nearly 4 years off again, on again drama
2. I became a first time home buyer and purchased my own townhouse
3. I was in danger of getting laid off in March '09 but recently found another job with better pay ( excited ) during a time when it seems the job market really sucks.
4. I started hanging out with friends and family who really cares about me and enjoys my company.

In 2009 I will:

1. Going on a cruise in the Spring with close friends excited
2. Be having fun being single and independent (maybe then that lucky guy will come into my life when I least expect it)
3. Completing my last class to earn my MBA in the spring.
4. Learning more skills and experience on my new job.
5. Commit to going to the gym at least 4 days out of the week no matter what.
6. Change my eating habits.
7. Get a cat.

What are your goals?

I don't think I've ever had a 'great' year. They've all been average and had there ups and downs, but the last memorable year was 2002. Ever since then it's been a continuous drone, so hopefully next year will be the start of great things. My goals are: finally lose weight, get the courage to go to america all by myself, get a more positive outlook, and just generally becoming happier with myself.

We are going to start in Delaware, we have a house there already sorted and there are huge tax wormholes back to Europe so it is a massive benefit to us and the business..... pray it is looking good.

Well, 2008 sucked so my main goal is to just make 2009 better falloff neutral

- I'd like to improve my grades. I've been doing better lately, but I know I can do better.

- Work on myself, both internally and externally. I need to fix the things I've been disliking. I need to start exercising more, I need to take time for myself and just take better care of myself.

- Travel. I need to take a trip somewhere!

See more of Europe, already have a trip planned to drive to France, Italy and Switzerland big grin

Not let liars like certain members of my family stress me like I have done lately.

Exercise more.

Maybe expand my family.

Keep my apartment always in guest-ready mode, meaning clean enough I don't care who walks through at any given time. (I can be a bit of a slob. redface )

Get out of the country at least once. It's been far too long. I'll go by myself if I have to. Which it looks like I will. sigh

Continue to be a non-smoker. It's still a struggle. I'm almost at 4 months and I'm happy with what I've done, but I realize I could turn the corner back at any time.

Learn more about managing my money. I've made some really good steps the last few years and have managed to keep a savings for over a year for the first time in my life. It's time to get even better.

2008 is ending with the Holidays biggrin and news that I'm losing my job of 9 years sad .

I'm actually looking forward to spending some time working on the house.
Spending a lot more time with my daughter = Mr. Mom
I'd like to lose 20 pounds. It's a lot, but there are no more distractions.
I'd like to write and record atleast 16 songs
