Death is hard, there is no closure and it's so final. What changes did U notice within U with every passing event?

Many of those caused deep soul searching for what was REALLY important to me in my life - deeper connections - HUGE graditude shifts - appreciating each day with loved ones and showing them so. letting petty wants and drama go with more ease ... so many shifts really

It was a breakup about 10 years ago that really caused some introspection and self-evaluation. I really became a different person. It also changed my perspective on relationships, but that's another conversation...
My daughter was the other catalyst for change.

has made me who I am today. [Edited 2/11/09 7:08am] Would U like to share any of them? I did but they seemed a bit heavy and personal for an open forum so I edited them out. I have had many sad and happy turning points so far in my life. I think the biggest one recently is finding out I am pregnant.

My mother dropping me off at college when I was 18 and saying, "Oh, yeah. I'm not helping you financially so you better figure out how you're gonna make it."
Everything since then has been a walk in the park and I haven't looked back since. [Edited 2/11/09 8:18am]

My aunt who raised me having a heart attack on the second day of my final exams at school. I did the best exams of everyone crying all the time, but from that day on my focus in life was no longer to make a career.
The death of my dad. As hard as it was I felt free as he had been very ill all through my childhood and I wasn't afraid anymore he might die any day. Meeting a man who I fell in love with like I never did before in my life. I tried to fight my feelings for a very long time, but it finally ruined my long time relationship with the man who I thought I would spend the rest of my life with. With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! And if, then I hope that I would then have wen in my environment who joins me in the A....

What did U focus on instead of a career? Have U managed to move on with another man, since ur long time relationship ended?
