I got towed yesterday and waited in -40 degree weather for 3 1/2 hours...it was so shitty
then I also have to pay a ticket on top of the tow fee

i sat on the freeway this summer twice in 1 day.. had a flat in the morning on the way to work had to wait for help to change the tire and put the spare on.. left work on my way home to get the tire fixed and the spare blew... sat in 112 for over 3 hours and no water.... i about passed out from heat.... the truck never came from the insurance company... another tow stopped and he charged me 40 bucks .... if he didn't show i don't know how much longer i would have been sitting there..... wow, reminds me of when i was a kid, was with my parents driving through the middle of no where in 116 heat, and the car broke down, finally a trucker pulled over to help us...that was long before my family ever had a cell phone.

Reminds me of when I was going to stay with my boyfriend at his house in Mexicali, Mexico in 1997. We were driving from my house in San Diego, and maybe around Ocotillo, about 45 minutes away from El Centro, the car started smoking. By time we drove across the border, smoke was billowing from under the hood. We only had to go as far as his parents house, but those ten miles were some of the biggest tension I'd ever had in my life. (Strange how we didn't seem to think about just getting out of the car, but that's what stress does to you...)

I've been towed before. Freshman year. It was getting dark and I was still moving some stuff into my dorm. I didn't have my student sticker yet and was hoping to slide by until the next day before I could get one. I only had a visitors sticker on my car. I woke up the next morning really early to go out there and move my car and just like that, it was gone. My roommates drove me to get my car after our classes.....which ended up turning into a fun trip. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)
