I think people here misunderstand you. It may not be your intention, but you are basing your "friendship" requests based on looks. Maybe not looks alone, but looks come first, seeing as you only click on them or want to know more about them if they are good looking. At least that's how it sounds to me.

Some people have pictures of their children and family and that could be a reason why they would want that protected. I hate it when people have their profile not set to private when they have their kids pictures on their profile. There are a lot of sickos out there just looking for a single mother or some kids and thats all the info they need right there. I am on myspace and don't know much about other networking sites.
