Whoa! I've been with out electricity since Thursday night! And don't expect to have it back for up to a week! UGH! luckily we have a generator and a woodstove so we'll be fine but it still sucks! My brothers car got crushed and his house has a hole in it. Lot's of people are in really bad shape.

Wow that sucks. I remember last year around this time Oklahoma was hit with a HUGE ice storm and power was out all over the state. We were without power for 2 days! Not fun!

OMGoodness!!! Shorty, I forgot that you got the brunt of that storm. I hope those utility workers get your area up and running ASAP. Its warm today, and I worry about black ice conditions in the late night. Stay warm and safe. Take lots more pics please. It's gonna rain tomorrow. Hope it melts that ice off those power lines and tree tops.

I saw workers from Maryland today and I've heard they are here from michigan and delaware too so hopefully...things will get back to normal sooner rather than later. I hope we don't get too much rain cause part of the problem was there was so much rain that some trees just fell over at the base...we had some land slide issues too....so..not too much rain please!

im sorry to hear that, here in kansas we had one of those nasty storms some years back, we had no electricity for 7 days.... thats a very long time when its bitter cold outside i hope you get warmth and power back very soon


that being said, even though they are horrible to live through and noone wants to be anywhere near them, they are truely beautiful to look at... your pictures are really nice.... the close-ups of the trees are always my favorite. still a nasty situation, but pretty to look at.
