I think I know the feeling. I have this intense drive to do these things myself too. I've assembled all our beds here, and they aren't from IKEA, so much heavier and no instructions, but when Leo came home from work, the bed was ready to  without any time-wasting!
I've assembled and pulled apart the baby cot so many times too, and it does require some lateral thinking to do it alone. | |
